Ran my Marauder in the 1/4!!

Finally ran my Marauder at the "Grove" last week. Race the new combo on the stock street tires and got a best of 1.9 60ft. and 12.97 @ 108 mph. i was happy with that. No weight was remove either. I hope to put slicks on it and get a cooler night this fall and go a bit faster.:banana2:

Pretty good times! Are you still getting a lot of spin on the tires? When are you using the spray?

Yes a little, the track was good but I think there is more in it with slicks.

Your 60 foot times are good with no slicks. The best I have had is 1.95 and that was with the slicks. When are you spraying it? At launch or later?

1.95 with slicks, something is wrong there. That is average street tire territory for 13-14 second or even slower cars. Some big block heavy slug cars I have built that ran high in the 14s were pulling 2.0s spinning on street tires.

Nothing wrong thats all it had and if you look in the time slips you will see that it is in order. This car was quick for NA and has a good track record. Fairlane 347 is doing a little better and using more cubic inches. He is also doing great!

Sounds good, kinda like rolling into the throttle which I have a problem with. My foot is to heavy!

Was that all motor or Nitrous/Forced induction?

If that was all motor i think thats the fastest N/A time
