I think b/c you already "replied" to a post...1 reply and 1 signature because I think they tend to take up space.

Correct, after you make a response on one page, you wont see the sig till next page comes up and you post.

The default with the new upgrade was to have your signature off when posting unless you selected the check box to turn it on. With Doug's help, that has been reversed. The default now is to include the signature in posts and PMs. You must uncheck the box below the text compose window to turn it off.
