My front shocks have gone south, but they're doing something weird. Seems like most cars I've seen with bad shocks may tend to sit lower, but my car is riding higher in the front.

Is there something else that could be causing this, or is their something weird about these shocks that would cause them to extend when worn or bad? I still have the factory Tokicos on the car.

My car looks like a 4wd now!

Any thoughts?

?? First thing I would do is make sure your air suspension is turned on. Could be that simple.

I have no idea how long the OEM shocks are supposed to last. Mine are at 41K and still seem to do a good job.

If the car sit higher in the front than befor it could be a possible bent piston rod preventing full travel or a bound spring.
Should you choose to replace them call The Dealer ask for Ray 800-633-5559 best price & service.

Shocks control the up and down motion.
The front springs maintain the hieght.

Cut your springs and call it a day. it will look great and corner far better than before. just my .02. My stock shocks are fine with 49,000.

I had a shock on an old car get totally stuck somehow, and it held that corner of the car up. So it's possible. The springs only set the ride height if the shock allows movement
