Heading to Gettysburg

Hey guys, I'll be in Gettysburg for two weeks starting tomorrow afternoon on business. Have the Harley with me and plan on doing some riding on the weekend (and during the week back and forth to work depending on the weather). If any of you guys would like to get together for dinner some night, or lunch on the weekend let me know. :beer:

There is a pretty good drive-in car gathering in Mount Airy MD next Sat pm. I am tossing around the idea of going next week. Lots of neat rides usually show up. It is a little ways for you. Perhaps 45 min.

Heading to Harpers Ferry and Antietem today and will be in Gettysburg Monday! Almost had a chance to see TiTo35( we were a couple of blocks apart) while we were touring the Capitol. :)

Thanks for the info. After driving up from Florida to Cape Cod, believe me, a 45 minute ride is a piece of cake. I'll see what is going on.

Heading to Harpers Ferry and Antietem today and will be in Gettysburg Monday! Almost had a chance to see TiTo35( we were a couple of blocks apart) while we were touring the Capitol. :)

I am in Gettysburg now for two weeks. Staying at the Lightner Farmhouse B&B just down from the Outlet Shoppes on Baltimore Pike off of US 15. I'll be working until 4pm, if you around let me know maybe we can get together. I'll PM you my cell.

The MT Airy location is in the Food Lion/Jimmy Cone parking lot. All that needs to happen is to show up. I am perhaps going out to dinner withthe wife on that night. Wedding Anniversary. It's hard to blow that off.:D Plans are not finalized yet, so we will see. I'll post up as the week goes on. Lady Hawk/Haggis know about this as well. Anyone else thinking about going?

Ran into a good rainstorm in Sharpsburg but got to see our Civil war ancestors grave at the National Cemetary and then toured the battlefield at Antietem. Harpers Ferry was also amazing. Would have liked to stay longer. We'll catch you next time.:)

I'll let you know what is going on. Having car friends show up on a wedding anniversary is generally not a good idea. Cars vrs wedding day, your playing with fire:eek:.................Eith er way have a great night...;)

Just got home. Really hated to leave Gettysburg today. The weather was gorgeous, blue skies, low humidity, big puffy clouds and the Battlefield was awesome. The new visitors center beautiful, had an extensive bookstore, and the food was great. All in all the trip was perfect. I really envy you, marauderTJA, getting to stay awhile. Enjoy!
