After dreaming about one for 5 years I finally got my Mercury Marauder. It is an 04 DTR Marauder she has 67K on her. She was on a toyota lot in Denver.
She already has a K&N filtercharger on it.

Congratulations. I certainly know the feeling as I've only been a Marauder owner since March.
Good luck resisting the urge to mod it.

Now all you need is a Trilogy! Then, some widened wheels. Then a smaller pulley, some drag slicks, nitrous....then a twin screw on a forged motor....and a deeeep wallet.:D

I bet Tim's gonna keep her stock, for a while at least, and enjoy his find, just the way it is. I mean, he did use up five years to find the right car. It's interesting to note, he found the car on a, so called, economy car lot, which is where many MM's might start showing up, because folks believe that paying 5-10K difference to earn 5MPG or so, is, somehow, good economics.
Is Tim our only member from Laramie, WY? Although I know nothing about the town, it brings up thoughts of adventure and romance; unlike some other towns, say, like Bootwash, MN.
Also, Tim, if you do decide to start making modifications, I encourage you to give our supporting vendors a chance to supply the needed pieces-parts, because they are the ones who provide much of the technical data you see posted here, not to mention, they, along with you contributing members, provide the resources that keep this site going.

I went to Wyoming Tech in Laramie back in the mid 80s, romantic wasn't the word I was thinking then. (except for the hot chick that worked at Hardee's)
its a nice place though, driven through many times since.
congrats on the sweetest ride in Laramie!!

Well there hasn't been a Hardee's here in 2 yrs. But they are building a Carl's JR on the east side.

Congrats on the MM
I also went to wyotech back in 03-04
From reading a bunch of your old post i realized that the Black mm you were trying to get from Laramie FLM was the same one that my Family would not let me get due to having outrageous finance rate They really didn't want to sell that car i think

Congratulations on adopting the DTR! My husband went to the University of Wyoming in '86. " Definately not romantic" according to him, but he is sorry not to have seen 'the hot chick" at Hardees.;) Enjoy your ride and you'll be hard to miss if we get back there for alumni week!
