I still think this car was made to be black - anything else looks kinda weird to me.

However, I was surprised that I did not hate the red like I thought I would. It isn't bad.

I had a RED 1989 Mustang GT and I loved that car, warning thou, it is a magnet to the Law Enforcement. Red = fast, speeding, and reckless driving even when parked.
I like this color on the Marauder but it wouldn't be my first, second or third choice, Black, Blue, Silver, in that order. :D

It may be just the crappy monitor I have at work, but that looks more like a cross between Cherry and Burgundy, like the '96 Impala SS...it's not BAD, though...I never thought I'd LIKE owning a black car, and I'm not crazy about it, but I still prefer black to the other 3 colors so far...

Is the fromt grille blacked out?

That would make a big difference in how the front looks. Hard to tell from the picture, although it does look blacked out.

Here in North Jersey, dealers have not restocked with any MMs after the initial blacks were sold; have never seen a blue or silver MM locally, and that takes in about four large dealerships.

Wayne L&M, who had 13 black MMs at one time, has shown none in inventory for quite some time.

Looks like they got burned and are hesitant to restock a slow seller (unless they discount).

(Wayne was one of the few dealers around North Jersey that had the traveling MM on display early in the game.)

Local dealers here have a hands full of Silver ones for anyone that is interested they just can't move them the car just look too big that is why I stay with black.

My choices are:
1. Black
2. Blue
3. Silver
4. Red
5. White (PD)
6. Yellow (Cabby)

I saw to day in Car & Driver's review of all '04's tht a glass moon roof is a factory option now on GM's and Marauders.

I can't believe the interest in these pics! Posted them at lunch, and by tonight-look at the activity.

After I posted the pics, I noticed a group of MM's in the dealer backlot. 2 Black, 2 Silver and 2 more Red.

Anyway, I'll try to answer the questions:

No remote fuel door - poor pic quality.

Interior is NOT CHANGED - This one had the dark interior (Can't remember the technical color name).

The grill in Red also (I say Maroon).

These things must have been right off the truck, they were still dirty.

Along with the others colors, this is also Classy. Damn this car keeps geting better and better, Someone should write Bill and let him know FoMoCo has a car worth saving in it's lineup.

The red looks good!!!...dark tint and spoiler...with DR goodies....I would like to see it first hand though!!! I love the black but it is such a pain to keep clean and I will only wash it by hand no auto washes etc. I would most likely be the same way with the other colors as well.


On another note I am going to Orange Park to visit DR tomorrow and looking forward to the transformation to Stage I and rear sway mods......HELLO.....The SC would be nice but can't really justify it at this point in the game.

The black is hard to keep clean but it is worth it.

OK, we all know the real reason to buy red is because after making so many black (gonna sell a lot of em), to doing blue, (looks good, ought to help the sales), to silver (stop the ads? this thing will never sell) to red (hey, the color was already mixed), the red will be rarer than any of the others and may actually have a better resale value.

I get what you mean, but it was Mercury's intention all along to introduce new colours. I just think they should have started the blue (and other colours) sooner. Not to mention let people know about it!
