Went to a car show yesterday

Was a good amount of cars, I'll put up a few now and more later. It happens every wednesday till October so ill probably be going back.

Nice turnout and decent variety of cars.

Your DTR looks great. I am sure your Merc drew a lot of interest as mine always does at car shows and cruises. Be prepared to answer, "What is it" on a constant basis.

Alot of people were looking, but i was directly across from a corvette stingray and a 65 Le Mans, so...... :)

It's a nice group there. It starts in april. I gone there with my 71' Monte Carlo. There's another Cruise/car show on RT1 south near the pathmark on thursdays.:banana2:

Just some FYI for the Jersey and NYC area guys.....

Every Sat at the Whiskey Cafe in Lyndhurst, NJ (down the block from Mideval Times) is a car show. It get packs. To enter your car, just give a $1 donation for some charity.

Nice turbo supra - those things are monsters on the highway if done correctly. I have been in one that made only 500whp and the thing was a BEAST on the high. It didnt wake up up until 90mph and then we were going 145 in a blink of an eye!

Seriously I am not sure what is faster then a t71 single turbo supra. Those thigns eat 'busas on the highway. Of course they did put it up against the F1 McClaren and of course it lost. But I have seen those things stretch out TT vipers and vettes like they are in reverse on the highway. 1320 is a whole other ball game, the turbo is too big to run on the track and needs a few to full stetch the 2JZ out.

The white Supra has 750whp. This car is scary sick.

That is a great turnout and delicious blend of wonderful car/trucks.

I love those events, although am always amazed that anyone would waste space at a car show with a Chrysler PT Cruiser. Prolly, next to the AMC Pacer, regarded as one of the worse vehicles ever made. :P

He is, i met him at a buggy meet, he let me try his out since mine was acting funny, although in a drag race with a burnt out belt and slipping reverse gear, i still beat him by a mile :D He swears he will get me back :lol:

BTW, it looks like it cleared up, and firefox is telling me it will be cloudy for the rest of the day. I plan on going, another MM.net member is coming to.

They say "Bring ANY car", you shoulda seen the rental car cobalt with a chrome CAI and halo lights that came for like an hour :lol:
