OK, I'm shopping for a tuner and decided on an XCal. But I just don't understand what the difference is between the XCal 1, 2, or 3..... Someone please advise.....I would like to have three tunes total stored in it. Which would better suite me? I understand that 1 is the oldest and the 3 is the newest, just don't want to spend $$ on a 3 if the 2 does everything I want.....

I have a late Xcal 2 the tech service from the call desk is unbelievable ...you can't go wrong with a 2 as it is upgradeable. Best Regards Kennyrauder.

The Xcal 1 has no screen, its just a bunch of LED's

Xcal2 is the first one with the screen, lets you change alot more than the Xcal. It has been out for a while.

The Xcal3 (as far as i can see) is the same as the Xcal2, it just lets you edit and change more, and i think it has more memory and ram. Allowing for faster tuning.

Xcal2's from vendors tend to be a little bit cheaper.
