Today it was hot as hell...like its been for awhile here in the DC area...I turn my A/C on and I hear a noise coming form the engine bay. I pay it no mind cause I am my way to the beach...I get there and pop the hood to let the engine cool down a lil and its water on a hose or two. It looks like the hose to the condenser/compressor? Hell I dont know...Do you? :help: Its what ever is right in front of the fan off to the side by itself on the left...
Thanks

That should be the a/c low side line to the drier, not to worry it's just "sweating" in other words it's normal. That line and drier will sweat as they should be very cold when the a/c is on. The more humid it's outside the more they will sweat, just like us ;).

Possible fan blade (plastic) coming apart. The blades are connected on the outside by a ring. Ring breaks in between blade. Fan spins centrifugal force lets broke ring contact fan shroud, thus creating a clacking noise. Also possible to completly halt fan motor, thus creating no noise, and shortly thereafter a burned up fan motor. Keep eye on temp gauge esp in town.
