Death Race drive in

Andrew (TakeDown) suggested that we all go to see Death Race at a drive in when it comes out. I want to go opening day, which I believe is like Sept 26th or something. Who is in?

We first need to make sure it is playing there. I know of another place in Indiana, but I don't know how many will make the drive. It's by Valpo or something, it's not too bad.

Bob maybe you could speak to the manager at Cascade Drive In and see if they would reserve a row of spaces for us, that way we could be ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY!

Ok here it is. They do not "decide" on what movie to play until about 2-3 days prior and its first come first serve. However i see on imbd that it is sceduled for release aug. 22 (my birthday) and i know that they always play right when released. So i will keep my eyes out and call when i'm not passing by there. Also there movies play fri night thru thurs. nights and whatever was the most popular will play again the following week. Lets plan on this being a friday night on probably the 22 or the 29 of aug.

Just say you have a search warrant for the papers containing the plans for what movies are shown on friday.

No, no, no, the proper way is to cite them with multiple county violations(i.e. dumpsters full, not enough places for Marauders to park, letting Dom in:D) and then tell them it all goes away as soon a they get the movie we want! Subtle and effective!!

Never made over there as today as people were in automatic stupid mode and kept me busy all shift, So I tried calling to see if the move was going to be there and it is still showing the Clone Wars and The Mummy. Tried the genral office phone (After 7 pm) during a break in the action and all it did was ring no answer. If it stays quiet tomorrow I will try to stop in and get a better answer. All the LEO's that have gone there do say new movies usually lag behind there by at least a week, but if can we get there early enough when it is showing as long as we don't take over the whole place we can pull off saving spots until all arrive at the movie.

Anyway please stand by hopefully more info to follow tomorrow.

Well I see the others got through, well so did I had a nice talk and found out that if and when the movie ends up there all we have to do is get there early, bring food to cook on their grill and we can all park in the same row(s). So I guess scheduling and arrival time will have to be coordinated to acheive the get together. Every body keep track as to when the movie arrives there and I am sure between all of us we can make it happen.
