Welcome to the site. The last 2 winters I drove the Marauder in I used Pirelli Scorpion snow tires. 215-75-16 in the back, 215-65-16 in the front, on 16" CVPI steel wheels.

No problems with the ABS or Traction control.

I used core racing rims, they had to be made to fit properly. (involved sanding them down)
But they look much better than those above.
Winterforce M&S 215/65/16 front 225/70/16 rear.
ABS and traction control work fine.

Hello Painsville!
Broadview Heights here. ;)
Please take our word and avoid the pain, waste of money, and poor performance in snow/ice and just go with 16" steelies and SNOW ONLY tires all around.
You can choose whatever tire you like, but coming from Akron and a family history of tire builders and engineers...I prefer the Bridgestone Blizzack.
Tire Rack has a package for us. You must CALL them however and hopefully get an educated employee that is aware of the 16" steelie package for the 03-04 Marauder.
It used to be around $525 or so.
I assure you this is money well spent, and if you ever quit using them, they WILL sell on this board.
**The picture attached is that of a friend I sold mine to a few years ago. They were 16" 1998 GranMarquis Steelies with 265-60-16 Blizzacks on all 4 corners.
The car was a beast even in a foot of snow!!!

I am in the process of doing the same thing. I got a set of Ford Racing Mustang wheels off of Ebay new in box $400 plus shipping. They are similar to the 5 spoke aluminum wheels that come on Crown Vic Sport models. I found a pic of a Blue with the same rims, attached if it works. Wheels are 18x8.5 w/50mm offset.
I use Hankook Icebear 300 tires on my wifes Neon and it works like a snowcat here in the ice and snow. The tire is available online from Discount Tire Direct (http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireProductCategoryDetailS tyl.do?sw=true&typ=Passenger%2FPerformance&tc=HANSV1)
Unlike the Blizzaks these are V rated and available in 235/50-18 and 255/55-18 so there should be no issues with traction control or ABS. The sales guy said both sizes were available even though only one of the sizes are currently listed. I'm going to order mine early September to get ready for our October ice storms. No garage queen here, this is my "all weather" toy. Hope this helps, Rick

Pretty much any real winter tire works great, in winter.
All Season are best avoided if you get cold weather, snow doesn't matter but in cold temperatures the winter tires work and the all season do not.
