I picked up some FR500 Anthricite's 18x9 with a 6.2BS they were on an 05 GT so I figure they'll fit my car. Anyone ever put these wheels on a Merc? Anyone with pics?

As long as they clear the brakes, you're fine. The offset should be close to 50mm, if they were on a new 'stang. i'm pretty sure the stock offset is 50mm

They are probably 38mm offset. 6.2 BS comes out to 43ish, but i'm sure its rated as a 38mm offset (most aftermarket 05+ GT wheels are 38). They will stick out a fair amount.
a 9" wheel would need about 65mm offset to be where the stock wheels are.

If I were to ever replace the wheels on my Marauder other than stock ones.... it would be FR500s.
I need pictures. Not sure if I could ever stray away from chrome wheels on this car.

Yeah, let's see the pictures. I have thought about those for the CVPI DD.

I know the 19" rear GT supercar wheel bolts up but sticks out a little. Keep us posted.

I really hope for your sake that they sit flush. The steam roller look that people get on these cars when they run wheels that stick out, is not attractive. Esp when you get a huge offset mismatch like running 02 and earlier wheels on an 03+. Seen it done (shudder)

Okay I guess no one has done them then...
Yes they are from American Muscle. But the backspacing on these wheels is damn near identical to the factory ones. Besides I have much widder tires than I really should on an 8" wide wheel. I'm hoping this will even the footprint out more and get rid of some of the "wabble" in the ass.
I'm gona jack up the car tonight and put the one on and see how it looks/fits. I'm not excited about getting rid of the bling but I think this will give it a more aggressive look.

I agree that these cars don't look as good with wheel/tire sticking out of the wheel well. On the other hand, I also don't much care for the stock look in the rear as the wheel/tire sit too far in. I think they need to fit a little more flush with the wheel well like the fronts do.
Now, the stock Marauder wheels are not as bad, but about any other stock Panther car setup is terrible.
Again, can't wait to see what these wheels look like on your car.

I love the FR500s and I'll definitely be interested to see what they look like on your Marauder.

if they are these http://www.americanmuscle.com/wheel-replicas-chrome-2005-fr500-wheel.html
that offset/backspace math doesnt work out. 6.2" BS on a 9" wheel isnt 30mm offset.
if it is 30mm they will stick out. But who am I to say anything. I have different wheels on mine that some people like, some people dont. Its all personal preference.

I measured them myself. 6.2" backspacing. I'm SWAMPED at work right now and won't be able to get them on till next week. Tomorrow when I get home from work I'll yank one off and just throw a wheel on to see how it looks. I'm just nervous about getting rid of the bling but I really want that extra inch on the width.

I want to get black and polished wheels, but am nervous about killing the bling too... convince me to do it, please!
