I have a chance to purchase a take off set of wheels from a 05-07 mustang the wheel is 18X8.5 wide. the offset is 50 mm. 6.87" backspacing. will this wheel work on the front of a 03 MM. or would a shim be needed. The fordracingpart number is M-1007-U1885P. thank you for your help.

Does anyone know what center caps would be available for this wheel...?
Mustang, Cobra, Shelby...?
Thanks, Architect

Take a look at the link in my posting above, I found a set of generic plastic/chrome center caps on ebay for $40. Took a bit of searching, but they're out there..

I then had a local sign/graphics shop cut out the mercury logo in black and stuck them on...

Do any of "Our" sponser vendors carry this wheel...?
The 18" x 8 1/2" Ford factory black Bullitt...
If I'm ready to buy...I'd like to buy from our sponsers...if possible...;)
Thanks, Architect

From you pictures it look's like you have oversized front tires. That most likely is your problem.

If these are the '06 bullit wheels 18X8 I have them on my marauder and only needed a 1/4 spacer on the front. Center gods heads caps fit snug.

I bolted up the 18 8 1/2 07 wheel and I do not see a reason for the spacer. Brake caliper clears fine and no concern noted when turning wheels. should I be looking for other area for concerns.

Don't see how that would be an issue, they are just 245's, same size as the rear.

The backside of the wheel itself rubbed against the caliper, no tire rub issues on anything.

These are FORD wheels, 18 X 8.5, same as everyone else is using.
