I just purchased a set of Marauder wheels for a fairly decent price. One of the rims has a pretty decent gouge in the lip. Do you guys think this will an issue? Is there any way to cheaply repair it?

Does not look like it will be an issue from 1500 miles away. I am sure your local Tire Store can give you an expert opinion.

If it is an issue, I do think Wheels America can fix it for a 125.00

Is that a new CAMer? I think once you throw a tire on it...no1 but you will know!

Is that a Spartan shield from the movie 300?

Yeah, I chose it after reading Gates of Fire by Steven Pressfield. They were some hard dudes.:D

I hope that was a really cheap wheel. I honestly would replace it with another $250 good condition used wheel before I would bother having someone weld and put an aftermarket finish on it.

If it's not in contact with the tire, and as it looks in the pic, it's not on the beat seat, it won't affect it at all other than perhaps making it a little harder to balance...

I will probably keep it for my spare and get another for my driver.
