Chirps off the line!

I'm sooo happy. In the past three days, I've chirped the tires three times from a dead stop. MM is still bone stock (until next week). I had the BIGGEST smile on my face when I heard it. Just had to get that off my chest, thanks for letting me vent!

Are you reving up before you let off at the line, or is it just a brake to gas punch and it chirps? How many miles are you at? Road surfaces? Just currious...

I've been trying to find a good reason as well, but can't. Just a "brake to gas punch", as you called it. Road surfaces were smooth blacktop. No sand, water, or debris. 4,100 miles. Can't wait to see what the Stage 1 & another 4,000 miles gives her.

Hey Constable,.. I just rolled past 4200 miles. I can chirp the tires now too. And like you it gave me an ear-to-ear grin. I was thinking it's because the tires are getting some wear on them.

I have also noticed that mine is doing it almost on demand now as well. Almost 18k on her at I chirp on dry, hot pavement without using the brake :)

One time I floored it around a corner from a dead stop and the tires lit right up. I ended up smoking out the entire intersection and left a lovely pair of 'S' marks behind. I was giggling the rest of the way home.

I'm at 6000 and notice several times I've been able to chirp from a dead stop, with the T/C on and hit the gas. Dry asphalt mostly..gotta love it!!
