Anyone else had any black goop oozing from their gauge pod area? I assume it is just the glue they used, but still irritating. I don't even live in a "hot" climate...

Yes. My OASIS actually says that "gooey gauge" was reported by customer and repaired. It is exhibiting advanced signs of "gooey gauge" again. I am going to take it apart when it gets really bad, degrease all the gooey crap, and use black silicone, which cures and will never weep like that.

The "goo" is from the adhesive used to secure the little rubber strip at the top of the pod. Goo-Gone or isopropyl alcohol will remove it. It's fairly common.
While you're at it, did you know the oil pressure gauge is a fake?

I did not have the problem till my gauge pod was replaced under warranty.
The replacement pod is oozing over the guages

Thanks guys...at least I know it is somewhat "normal". Will take Overlords advice.
