Hey guys and gals,

I have a 2003 Marauder, and ever since I got it over here to Germany my engine has been seeming to overheat I think. My car will be idling or I will be driving and the temperature gauge will move from the middle in between C and H, where it used to run, and goes up to high (H) and I can hear my fan running louder than usual. It eventually goes away after a little while but has me concerned. It hasn't affected the performance of my Marauder but it has been irritating the hell out of me and I'm afraid it may affect my performance later on or cause my engine to blow up or something lol. Sooo if anyone else has had this problem I'd love to hear how you dealt with it or didn't. Don't really feel like giving up my left arm and a leg to AAFES so they can charge me a ridiculous amount to fix...

THANKS!:D

Was the coolant recently changed? You may have a air bubble in the system. Burp it using the fitting in the crossover tube.

No coolant wasn't recently changed, but I will try that.

Ok feel a bit stupid but can't find the crossover tube, I'm probably overlooking it though.

Where does your temp gage point to? It should point to about 20mph on the speedometer.

It usually stays at around 20 or so, but when it starts to overhaet it shoots up to high temp.

That sounds like air in the system. I will search for a picture of the cross over tube.

It is the black tube, about 1 1/4" in diameter that runs from near the radiator to passenger side of the engine (if I remember correctly)

The longer arrow points to the tube.

The shorter arrow points to the bleeder bung.
