Took some time today to install the dead pedal I got from BigCars4Ever. A nice piece of work, the dead pedal is! It was a very straight forward install with good instructions provided by BC4E. So simple even I could do it! It looks good in the car and, more importantly, has great utility. It makes a big difference having someplace to put your foot. Reminds me of having a clutch in my younger days. Yes, I was bad about leaving my foot on it.
Anyway, nice product and easy install with great utility.

Thanks BC4E!

I agree on all counts. Makes for a nice place to tap your foot to the beat of the music.

What tools did you need?

What tools did you need?

A 10mm deep socket, ratchet, and a pair of dikes to trim a plastic piece.

Guess that is why I was able to handle this task. Next step... supercharger.

I don't think a supercharger will be as easy to install. You may need a few more tools too!
Thanks for the compliments!

I too just installed the BC4E dead pedal. Just what the car needed. Should have had it from the factory. What are you guys using for rubber trim around the pedal? Thanks again BC4E.

I wrapped mine in Black Leather. Really needs Black Chrome Screws to finish it off nicely.

Gives good gription and tones down the bright aluminum look.

I need to replace the leather, as it has worn a bit over the past two years.

That's an old prototype in that picture. The production part is much nicer. See this post for assorted pictures.

Some members have used adhesive grip tape from Home Depot to cover the pedal, one member filled the holes wih rubber grommets and others used paint. I like mine naked!
