Sunroof's were a factory option on the Marauder even though there were sub-contracted out :confused: go figure.

My father has a '06 GM with "factory" sunroof, but it was still not done on the line. I don't get how they can call it a factory sunroof, and then to sublet them and have a hole cut, not to have a stamped roof panel like real factory sunroofs.

As an organization we should buy these cars, part them out to members, recoupe our expenses, at the same time decreasing the number of MM's on the street, and increasing the value of our cars, I know, I know that it will take forever for the numbers to decrease enough for the value to be modified. BTW I liked the comment, "it means it's not black" I agree.

If the the vin starts with 2MH it is a factory sunroof car. If it starts with 2ME it is not. The third letter in the vin tells you.

I've heard the number 170 kicked around, but I don't know if that's ever been confirmed.

My DTR was equipped with moonroof, heated Light Flint seats, and the CD changer, which I guess puts it into the "rare" category.

The DTR actually still looks shiny. I would never salavge my Marauder even if it went down to that condition. My car was "totaled" twice and guess what? It can be fixed.
