Greetings,
I have been having a strange problem lately. When I put my car in reverse, the AC (whole EATC), overhead console and power steering quit. After a couple of seconds, it comes back on. The EATC & overhead displays sometime (but not always) flicker slightly when I drive.

I know that low amp power comes through fuse 16 for the EATC and overhead console. I have checked this fuse (ok) and monitored the voltage across the circuit when the problem happens and it does not drop. So, fuse 16 is not the problem.

Not sure why power steering quits too. It's power comes through fuse 114 in the battery junction box.

My reverse lights work fine also.

Both problem systems share the PCM but I'm not having any other problems (engine, autolamp, etc).

Possible causes:
- PCM
- PCM power relay
- PCM power diode
- Transmission Range Sensor
- Blower motor relay
- AC clutch relay

Has anyone had this problem? What solved it?

HELP!!!!!

Thank you!

Sounds like maybe you are tugging on a harness when putting the shifter in reverse. I would open up the console and take a look.
