Hello Michael and welcome to the MM.Net :welcome1: This is the place for answers and tips on the Marauder. There's about 6 years experience around here.

Where are you located in Germany? I have about 6 years autobahn experience over there .... mostly in the Rheinland Pfaltz/Saarland area (Baumholder, Kaiserslautern, Bad Kreuznach, Mainz, Frankfurt, Mannheim, Heidelberg, and Karlsruhe area.

Congrats on the new ride, quite a ride it is. Do you have 93 Octane rated fuel there?

Europe has a different octane rating than what we have in the states. If I remember correctly their 98 octane is around our 92-93 so he wont have any issues.

You really need to send us some video of your Marauder on the autobahn! I have relatives in Wirsberg (kries Kulmbach) that I will travel to see someday again. What area are you in, Micheal?

thank you for the nice welcome greetings! i come from a little village near hamburg. i ride evervy day to hamburg 60 kilometers one way, 50km autobahn and 10 km country road.
my marauder drives with LPG, it is very cheap in germany. normal fuel is very expensive.
98 octan is forbidden in gemany, because it is loaded, so we have unloaded fuel with 92 octan, i think (excuse my english)

Hallo.

+1..... there was that company that dropped a Triton V-10 into a CVPI fueled by LPG. Never heard what happened to the project besides the one-off they built. Propane octane is over 100, right?

Wow, one EURO is about $1.60, 4 litres in a gallon, so nearly $6.50 for a gallon of gas!

YIKES!!

I thought they looked smaller than ours (like a sealed beam unit or something).

Now we are 2 from Europe :D And my name is also Michael, what are the odds of that?

You can get 255 rear tires in Germany, I know because I Just ordered some tires for my car, from Germany.

And i noted you don't have any side indicator on the front fender is that legal in Germany?
Do you have a picture of the rear of the car. Do you have a fog light there?

wow, very nice people! thank you all!!!!
i hope, i don´t forget to answer a question:
no, in germany we don´t need side markers at importcars, but we need a rear fog light, but i´d delete it ;-)
the headlamps are original but with european headlamps inside. good idea for the german TÜV (car-control), but i want to get the originals!
last week, i bought new tires from usa, can´t find this size in germany!
i´ll open a new thread about LPG!

@mrsteamrope:

Rough translation for the members .... he has only pushed it once to the speed limiter at 117 MPH and normally only runs in the 74-81 MPH range. :D

I plan on taking classes soon. I understand and speak alot more than I can read and write. My grandmother was from Hanau Germany and my company is based out of Switzerland. I learned the most from my grandmother and picked up more when I had to go there for work. Plus I work with a bunch of Swiss, German, and Austrian guys that I'm always talking trash. It's nice to piss some one off in there own language. I may have to move there in a few years as I go through managment training so I want to be pretty fluent if I have to stay for a couple of years.
