1st the Marauder goes in for new tires brake check and now a steering check.
The crunking sound I have been hearing is something to do with the steering when I turn right. It doesn't always happen, 3 out of 4 times. But it gets to a point and it crunks. Couple of times but not when turning left. If I turn left it only does it when I straighten the wheel out again. If i turn right it does it but not when straightening the wheel out.
Any ideas?
(crunk is the sound it makes)

Maybe your head hitting the drivers door glass ?? Try turning slower.
By the way WTF does a "crunk" sound like? Never heard that one before.

There is a limit to the steering on the right. When you go the limit (or very near) the steering rod actually contacts part of the suspension. Happend on my Crown Vic too.
Don't do that anymore.

I had an idiot alignment tech when I first got the MM undertighten the camber adjustment bolts. The control arm bushing on the front right would pop when you steered most of the way in one direction only. The alignment had to be re done and torqued to spec and it was fine.

It sounds like s low tone crunk "crunk" being the actual sound.
It does it about half way turning to the right. Or when strightening out from a left turn. Doesn't seem to do it when not moving although I might not be hearing it.
It isn't very loud. AC running low covers the sound up completely. Tire noise when stationary might also be masking the noise.
It is definitely there though as another person did hear it on one day. Lately last three days I have not heard it.
Maybe somthing was loose and tightened when I took it in???
Will keep you informed if it show up again.
Sway bars and alignment, I need to look into that.
Thanks
PS where can I buy Crunk - The Drink.

bent tie rod, or pitman arm, get it off the ground and take a look underneath
