Sometimes if I do a burnout on an incline only the power wheel will lite up, were you on a hill?

Otherwise if you were on a flat surface I agree with Bob your clutches are probably shot.

I just had 4.10's installed on my marauder by a gear "freak". He said the factory limited slip doesn't work that good from the factory, brand new. Mine has 48,000 miles. He installed an extra clutch on each side and i can't do a one wheel burnout if i try. Maybe you should get your posi rebuilt with extra clutches. And while it's apart put 4.10's in. Trust me you won't be dissapointed.

I would recommend people try the FRPP HD "Cobra" LSD kit before changing to a different rear. I put this kit in my MM and it does make a difference after 3 blown LSDs. The kit also includes a SHD F-150 "S" spring for the LSD which greatly increases the torque against the side gears for twin stripes.

I would suggest listening to Glenn, he's one of the sharp guys here. :D My bet would be the blown clutch opinion. They do wear out. Is it a bad thing? Yes, "oneleggers" from a Marauder are quite embarassing. Seems to cost about a tenth in the 1/4 on mine, figure more if you're blown or juiced.

Yea, let us know what it do.

I can't figure out why the Marauder clutches would wear so fast. The 8.8 carrier in the MM is a revised version and is much stronger than the older 8.8 limited slip carriers. Yet I was running a 100+k mile 80s carrier in the MM for a short while, with the nasty 80s clutches in it, not rebuilt, and it too spun both and had nice high breakaway torque.

Already installed. Twin stripes are easy now and the car hooks better off the line.
Use a big beater or remove the diff and use a press to get that "S" spring in. It was not a easy task.

Yeah, you just earned the nickname "Peg leg".
Do the Cobra Clutch upgrade! and we won't make fun of you.:D
I get a little noise turning corners from this upgrade.
An extra botttle of friction modifier helped minimize the noise.

As the mods increase the weak points in the drivetrain appear. My rear was first.
In fear of jinxing myself I shall not toot my horn on how well the other parts are working.
