I'd like to switch out my stock resonated tips to the non resonated variety, but Megs is no longer making them. Does anyone have a different brand non resonated tip on their MM's?

Would need to be 26" long, inlet 2.25, outlet 3.5, with a rolled edge.

Thanks!

Did you check with Wes at Innovative Interceptors to see if he has any res-delete tips left? I think I had a couple extra sets left after the group buy.

I'm dumb to this so go easy on me. What does this do to the sound? Just make it louder?

They have a lot of "stuff".

Hmmm...Those are the longest I've seen so far at 22". I just don't want my rusty pipes to show from the side.

They also have 304 SS polished tips but 22" is the longest any of them are.
I talked to this guy at Carlisle and he might be able to get something a little longer if there was enough interest.
I think the 22" length would work.

If he doesn't have 3.5" tips left you could always go with the 4" tips.

Wes doesn't just have 4" in stock, that was the GB he did.

when and why did they stop on the delete tips?

I drove down to a local muffler shop and bought me some non-res tips for under $100. Full polished stainless, 2.5" in, 4" out, just a few inches shorter than the stockers. They had both the rolled tips and slash cut. You should check out a few shops around you.

Last time I posted about this, everyone talked smack because I said it was stupid to spend over $200 on exhaust tips alone, so Im waiting for it again this time. BUT, considering I spent about $200 to have my custom 3" exhaust fabbed up, I still think its stupid to spend so much on exhaust tips.

Megs has shifted their product line due to slacking demand. :(

I do carry some alternatives, like a 22" Magnaflow in 4" thats available.

Yes the deleted tips just give a better sound and look

Magnaflow makes tips, they are 22" though.

I own a exhaust shop in Mulberry Fl. I can get a 22" tip,3.5 outlet, 304 stainless, rolled or slash cut. THe 4" is 18" long w/a 2.5 inlet. These are not megs.

I carry the Magnaflow 4" look alike. I'm working on trying to get MBRP to make a tip but not sure how cost effective it will be....
