Wow I just went for a ride after installing the K&N CAI what a difference in response. my car came with flowmasters and delete tips . this with the K&N is huge. I may have to much money in the car but like I told the wife this is my harley/ chopper but you and our son can come along. I just hope I dont end up getting alot of tickets like I did when I had my 95 mustang of course it was ticket me yellow. Any of you have a suggestion as to my next mod?I'm thinking larger throttle body. I'm also thinking making a trip to Orlando. Not sure how much they can get out of it with out going to S/C. I guess I could pull from their menu though as a last resort.

What else do you have in the car? If only the exhaust work, don't bother with the throttle body yet. UDPs, a tune (if not already in), gears, headers. A dyno tune can work wonders. If you are close to DR, that would be my next choice. He da man...

not sure what you mean about UDPs. I think the headers would fail emissions?
would like to make the trip to Orlando to see what DR can do .
for those that have done it. is it a driven in one day tune and go ? or is it a drop and we will call in a week thing?

I just got a JLT CAI and yeah, the difference is pretty impressive. Its got that, an 04 PI Zip Tube, 70mm Throttle Body, PI Intake, and that is it as of far. Im still thinking UD Pulleys and a tune of some sort. Any recommendations as to a tune? I live like 1 hour from Lonnie at Blue Oval Chips but i need an XCal 2 i believe. Any thoughts on a cheap XCal? Perhaps a J-Mod is in order as well...

DR is in Jacksonville, not Orlando. Well, Orange Park, technically. You can buy the xcal 2 or xcal 3 with a tune in it, mail order, no need to drive to their location unless you want to put it on the dyno for a full-bore custom tune. With the xcal you can load the tune into your ecm, easy. You can get the tuner w/tune from either DR or Lidio. Both are vendors here.
