ATTENTION HUNTERS: I have a 1987 Ford Bronco II 2D, 4WD for sale, if you need pics let me know. The is in very good shape, motor runs great, the power windows leave one wanting manual, paint is faded evenly, rust spot over top right corner of drivers side door, the only thing really wrong is that the tranny seems to fouled up again. It goes in reverse and 1st gear only. If someone has had expirence with these and could help me get it running then I will wait to sell. Asking price is $2000

I had an '84 that was a great little vehicle, ran it for over 115k with minimal problems. Mine was a 4 speed, though, so can speak to any tranny problems.

I guess so! I always thought it was one of the best vehicles I owned. Towed a pop-up camper all over the Midwest with it, hauled a bazillion trailerloads of firewood, and weathered 9 Wisconsin winters in it with only minimal problems and pretty much only routine maintenance. I do recall the paint as being kinda crappy, especially on the roof. I ended up sanding it down and painting it flat black to match the bumpers and trim (I had one of the early '84s that had minimal chrome).
