I really want to know what the tach is at...

@ 75mph?

@ 90mph?

What mph does 3rd go to?

I really liked the 3.73's because they did help down low a bit and didn't tach it up much on the top end.

you can calculate this online. It will be a very accurate estimation because with a lockup converter, there is no converter slip. Factor in tire size, overdrive of around 0.7:1.... you don't need someone to drive down the road for this

Okay here you go:

3.55 gears
@75 mph, 2190 rpm
@90 mph, 2627 rpm

3.73 gears (which I have as well in the MM)
@75 mph, 2301 rpm
@90 mph, 2761 rpm

4.10 gears
@75 mph, 2529 rpm
@90 mph, 3035 rpm

So 228 rpm increase at 75 mph, going from 3.73 to 4.10

I have my 3 to 4 shift happening at 125 MPH at 60% Throttle.

I suspect it could do about 135 in third......If you set the tune to allow it.

75 MPH is just under 2,500 RPM in 4th gear and torque converter lock-up

90 MPH, I don't know, we are not allowed to drive that fast in New York. There is a an extra tax for that......

I'll see if I get the opportunity to "test" it on the way home.

Interesting. I do about 70% highway driving and at 70mph I'm at 1782rpm (datalogged) with 3.55 gears and 3500 stall locked. I also have 255/55-18 rears which give me an effective 3.50 rear gear ratio. With my street tires and 4.10s I should be around 4.04 effective rear gear..

Oh well I'll see how they work out on the highway if its chuggin the gas I'll just hit the back roads.

Sometimes - but only because it's blown now. The 4.10's are the perfect addition when NA. If I'd have known I could have afforded a blower in the future, I may have stayed 3.55.

I totally understand that. My wife's cobra will get 3.73's and we'll yank the 4.30's when we put a blower on that car.

Okay thanks guys. Once I get the new MM I'll slap some 4.10's in it.

+1, changing to 4:10's is one of the best mods I've made. Big increase in performance, minimal impact on gas mileage, definitely the way to go if running N/A.

Gas prices are going way down around here, def. need 4.10s to take advantage of this cheaper gas I can waste lol.
