I cant get this stain out and why the hell is it happening anyways?
Is the upper air intake hard to take off? Anyone know the process? If I get it off maybe I would have a better chance at scrubbing it.
Thanks.

Take the upper intake off and sand blast it with a mild glass. You'll be golden and it'll look brand new. I just did this to a TON of the parts on my foxbody to clean up the engine bay.

Sand blast it or take it to someone who can polish it up for you.

It looks like a re-occuring oil stain.
Make sure the PCV valve/system is clear and working and get a new hose conection or silicone it.

Upper intake is a snap to take off, just mark all the hoses as to where they go, disconnect them, remove the retaining bolts, and remove the upper part of the intake. Be careful, and re-install by doing inboard bolts first, re-torquing in steps so as not to warp it.

Brake parts cleaner will remove the stain. Fixing the PCV with prevent it's return.

Perfect. Now figure out why your PCV is leaking.
