Friends,

I got the weirdest call yesterday. I answer. It's wife #2. Haven't traded a single syllable with her in 2 years. WTF?!

She got word a very good and long term friend of mine was in the hospital.

This friend is largely responsible for my current career. He named me 'Imagine That?'. When I was just a phone guy, he would force me to work on computers against my fear and trepidation and when it worked he'd mockingly say 'Imagine That!'. That surefootedness and observation of the obvious became my part of persona.

He had a massive coronary Saturday in the kitchen with his wife. He's been in CCU for a week with no brain activity. They are going to let him go today.

I saw his wife last night and she's holding up amazing. It was all I could do to only tear up and not lose it seeing my friend and mentor just lying there hooked to machines he could probly build himself.

This is my first real go-round with this in my adult life and frankly, I don't like it so much.

He'll be survived by his wife and 3 beautiful little girls.

Send the vibes their way - they sure do need it.

James Michael Frampton, you'll be missed.

Thanx for reading, friends.
Rich

I'm sorry for your loss, and for you going through this, and prayers go out to his family. As time goes by and we all age, you come to find out, things like this don't get easier with time. Keep your chin up, and be strong for his family and friends, is the best you can hope for. Oh yeah, and make Him proud, witch you've probably already have done.

My condolences,

Ed

My thoughts and prayers are with his familiy, Brutha...

Unfortunately, The older we get, the more we see loved ones pass from this world...

Sadly...We all come to this realization...

Life is never the same without them...

I read this post this morning and it shook me up so much that it is just now I can reply. With 3 little ones of my own, it really hit home how fast life can pass you by, and how quickly it can be taken from you. Prayers and thoughts for your family and his.

Losing anyone is always hard, but parents are the hardest.

Losing friends is not really hard on you, it is just sad. Family loss will shake you to the core and you never really feel like they are gone. Even years later.

Best thing to do is celebrate a day for them, a birthday is best. Pick something they would have done, or would do and try it out, nothing is better than sharing a feeling they had and enjoyed.
