I had the truck cleaned up... so I took some pictures of it.

I wanted to try to make the truck the center of attention, but not just the center of the pictures, making the background and the sky highlights of the pictures too.

What do you think?

...What do you think?...

Nice work on the truck, it is looking good.

You are shooting the shade side of the truck. It is really hard to expose it properly and the details are lost in the shadows.

On the first picture the loading dock is growing out of the pick up. Kinda distracting. Also the lights on the building and rust stains could be cloned out to give a cleaner background. The sky looks good, did you use a polarizing filter?

On the second the roof of the building is awkwardly growing out to the truck again. There is some stain/weed on the building that is pretty ugly/distracting.

You did a nice job with reflections and shadows. Again the sky looks good, nice color and clouds.

Keep shooting!

I picked this spot because it is striaght lines and negleted vs. curves of the truck and the freshly polished truck, kinda a beauty and the beast thing.

Okay, then maybe a more "industrial" background is in order. This one is bland to me.

Oops, missed that link. Glad you got some on the sunny side. Liked the winter snow drift shots also!!

for me... I hate a beautiful shot of a car, and some big government TAG stuck to it ruining the shot... just a personal thing i guess.

Notice how much it sticks out in the 2nd pic on this post, the one i didnt photshop out? My eye is drawn to it, in a bad way.
If you have personalized plate then its better.
