I have a Pioneer D3 unit with the IPOD cable an a very nice clean install.

I was wondering is there a way for the screen to play IPOD Video? The IPOD interface has a selection for video but it only outputs audio and the video plays on the ipod.

I know the Alpine deck has a sweet interface and a video playback for Ipods, was hoping maybe my D3 can do it.

Podcast while driving is fantastic...crash :)

Best mod done to the car, makes trips to NY a breeze!

Eric check on www.AVIC411.com (http://www.AVIC411.com) and see if they have any idea on this.

This might fix my airbag light...A LOT of peopel are complaining about installing a D3 and the air bag light poping on.

John have you had any experience on this with our cars? It says my passenger airbag is screwy - which was what the Nisan guys were saying...

This would save me at least 500 bucks!

I have not heard of this. If the Deck is installled correct I do not know why it would trigger an air bag code. You do not tap into the air bag circuit. I do not go that web site often so I have nat seen that issue and we have not had it happen here.

If your air bag light is on there is a problem else where. A scanner should tell you the problem. Best to go to a dealer on that one, you do not want to deploy one by accident!

Yea its code 53 and the dealer wants 500 bills at least for just labor not including parts. Not covered under the Federal warranty since it is a electrical and warranty only covers mechanical errors. So I am royally screwed...

I am just going to rip the seat belt speaker noise generator thing out of the car and hope some drunk dude slams into the car while its parked....odds of that?
