I was in Las vegas this past week. The Marauders' air bag light went on and has stayed on since. My Bright switch hasn't been working properly for a couple of weeks. Then, Tuesday night I was driving, my headlights stopped working, but my fog lights were still on. The next day, I unlocked the car with the FOB, and the lights were working again. Also, the bright switch is working again.

SPOOKS!!??
Is the LCM tied into the air bag circuitry??
Sounds as if you might have a chaffed wire somewhere.
Good Luck finding it!!

Could be the headlight control module. My 73k mile MM was exibiting the same issue and I was told by the Ford dealer thats what the problem was. Not a cheap fix. I was Quoted like 500 bucks or so for that repair.

Your dealer has an electronic OBD-II diagnostic gismo that will tell him the story.....extended warranty is EXACTLY what you need!!
They fixed mine in 15 minutes under warranty......about $600 without warranty!!

Look at the harness where it enters the firewall. There are threads here some where on this.
