Hi everybody, been a while since I've been on but I'm finally ready to sell my pride and joy to get a Marauder. I'm open to anything, any color, mods are a plus. Must be fairly local unless you're willing to travel. This is the ad I have up, obviously if you're interested in an outright purchase that's fine but I'd really love to trade for a MM. E-mail me with offers, I'm fairly open minded, venomsvtcobra@aol.com

Selling my baby becuase I have no time for her anymore and I need a daily...I almost never drive it. I have about $17k invested all together and you could part it out for more than what I'm asking. I'm open to reasonable CASH offers but will not even entertain lowballers, you offer me $8k and you can keep walking. It'd take twice that to build this car. This car is not "perfect", but is in great condition, especially for an 88! It is what it is, no more, no less. I have absolutely nothing to hide on this car, and would be happy to answer any and all questions! Although I do not have receipts, (i stupidly didn't keep any becaues i had no intentions of selling this car, ever) I can provide the numbers to all shops that did the work on this car so all work can be verified as to if and when it was done.

Pics are recent and it's still in this condition, but it now has no exhaust tips, black carpet, and the whole top half of the motor has been professionally powdercoated gloss black, insluding the radiator bracket. Other than that it is what you see.

All mods are 4 years old MAX and have about 8k miles on them, many parts are only 500 miles old. Mechanically it's basically been restored. Paint is 7 out of 10, it was done in 99 but still shines up nice, few rust bubbles but nothing bad.

Here's the deal, the car is a turn key 10 second car easily, but could use a few things to be totally psychotic. It put down 510hp to the tires at Crazy Horse in South Amboy, NJ and this was the BARELY-TUNED run! It's got a decent tune right now, (by Job Spetter Jr. of Turbo People). Job said word for word that he could have gotten 600 RWHP out of the car easily as it sits, but he couldn't dyno tune it to peak because it's making too much boost(18lbs) and needs to be switched to a serp belt instead of the cog setup it has currently. All mods have at most 8k miles on them, many have way less, as I've sunk well over $6000 in the car this past year. With a nice drag suspension kit and a built AOD this would be a low 10 car EASY. Motor's been 10.5 consistant in the built AOD Notch it came from with a much more restrictive intake setup and a so/so tune.

-motor consists of a virgin 27,000 original mile stock short block(all mods were added at 23k orig miles), entire motor/computer/fuel system were taken from a mid 10 second full caged notch(I have a link to the for sale ad for the notch when i bought it as a donor if you'd like to see, just ask). the motor was running mid 10's at 129mph in the notch, and that's before a lot of what's done now(since then all the following was done: all new ignition components, new upper/lower intake w/spacer, bigger throtle body/spacer, bigger injectors, better fuel pump, new computer and tune.

Only difference from these pics is it now has new black carpet, no exhaust tips(has dumps due to anti-roll bar), and the entire top half of the motor and a few other parts under hood are powdercoated gloss black.

You're making that power with a stock block. Its basicly waiting to go boom. (So is mine) You've also got 10 second power with 15 second brakes. Don't expect to get more than 10k for it. Honestly... I wouldn't expect anymore than 9 for mine. I saw the listing on ebay. How high did it go? Fox's don't fetch a damn thing unless they are a 93 cobra or 93 R. They are the absolute worst car on the planet to sink money into and sell.

Not true, any honda (minus the S2k and NSX) would be FAR worse

Greetings again Nighthawk, i know a local car show where you could put that with a for sale sign, might get lucky (but you'd get to hang out with 3 marauders :) )

Pm me if your interested :D

Yes and no, honestly I'd consider $10k, but fox stang prices are on the rise. A few years back 3-4k was the going rate for a so/so fox, now yuo'd pay closer to $6-7k.

As far as my car goes, believe it or not the car's on a fairly safe tune. It was tuned by arguably the best tuner in the northeast, maybe even the country. He builds and tunes stangs that hold records in just about every motorsport imaginable. According to him and a few other mustang guru's in my area the motor should put up with this for a decent while so long as it isn't beat every time you give it gas, especially with 27k original miles on it. It has about 4k miles on the setup and I did a compression test and everything's stellar. :D

As far as the brakes go you'd be surprised. With the upgraded master and SSBC front caliper/rotor setup it gets back to zero fairly quick, straight and safe.
And as far as the trade goes, I never said I wanted a 6000 mile, showroom new Marauder. So it's still reasonable to offer...

Edit: and as far as e-bay goes I never had it up...too many scammers and BS artists, I wouldn't waste my time or money with e-bay.
