the other night i went to drive my mm and one of my hid's wasnt working.. i did tests with a volts meter to make sure it was grounded and getting power and everything seems right.. its getting only .04 volts less than the one that is working. does anyone know what would cause this?

did you try the obvious wire to the balast plugged in, wires from the balast to the bulb plugged in?

Is the bulb ok?

yea the bulbs ok and everything was plugged in.. i took the ballast off my car to look at it and where the power and ground plug in was all corroded so i cleaned it with baking soda and water.. hopefully it will work now..

maybe some dielectric grease on them after you clean them

It's grease you use on electrical connections, bulbs, spark plug wires, ballast connections, etc, to stop corrosion.
