Worked on it a little today getting ready for the new hood. I had a spare one with the CAR Motorsports embroidered cover on it. It had been melted from an engine fire I had a long time ago (didn't damage the emblem, just the UHI cover fabric above the intake manifold). I stripped the cover off and cutout the hole to line up with the cutout in the hood.

Now what I want to do is try and cover it with the plain black covering material from CAR, then take my good embroidered emblem and sew velcro on the back of it to stick it on the UHI. It should fit just fine on the side opposite the underhood light.
Seems like somebody was asking about the plain black material from CAR just a little while back, better hunt down that thread...
