I did a search but the part numbers are old...

Anyone have pics of their car with mudflaps?

Are they still available for the Marauder?

Thanks!

They never were. However with a little work '03 crown vic mud flaps will fit. First off you need to remove the ford logo:)

I still might have two I took off the front of my old Marauder when I bought it three years ago. They looked like ***** so I took them off. I'll check my garage.

Yes ... The exact same ones that fit the 1998+ Crown Victoria. *There never was any specifically for the Marauder.

gdmjoe - nice CV! Wish my car was that shiney.
I never really thought about mudflaps for my MM, but those don't look half bad. Might help keep the lower sides cleaner.
Thanks for the pics.

The blue mrdr you are talking about had regular flat mudflaps. not the molded ones. I had pictures of it saved but I lost them. GDMJOE that is a really sweet crown vic!!

I have had the rear molded mud flaps on for years and they look and work great. They only needed a little extra work to install - some extra double sided tape worked great. Do not use an electric screw driver to install the pointed screws - just a manual screw driver. The plastic quarter panel is very thin plastic at this place.

MGM mud flap should work.

Agree ... Also used double-sided (3M™ variety) on the rear; used an ice-pick as a punch to get a starter-hole for the screws (whose main purpose was to hold the splash guard in-place until the tape [i]set-up).

Hint / Tip for the fronts ..... paint the inside and outside bare-metal edges of the holes drilled in the fender lip.
put a couple beads of silicone sealer on the splash guard <> fender mating surface to seal them from sand, etc. intrusion and chafing (and insuing rust).
put a dab of silicone seal on the end of each screw point where it protrudes on the inside of the fender lip.

Diabolical1 CC - MGM mud flap should work.
The fronts are the same as the 1998+ Crown Victoria.

Several members have previously tried the 2003 MGM rear splash guards, however, the rear bumper fascia lines for the Marauder match those of the Crown Victoria and -not- those of the MGM. *Though I don't know if anyone has tried (say) those for a MUCH newer MGM. i.e. 2007-8.

<html>The flaps are small and not that effective IMO, but I like the way they look...<table><tr><td><a href="http://www.mercurymarauder.net/showcase/files/4/2/7/5/enkei_mt-00.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.mercurymarauder.net/showcase/files/4/2/7/5/enkei_mt-00.jpg" width="384" height="288"/></a></td><td><a href="http://www.mercurymarauder.net/showcase/files/4/2/7/5/enkei_mt-03.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.mercurymarauder.net/showcase/files/4/2/7/5/enkei_mt-03.jpg" width="288" height="384"/></a></td></tr></table></html>

I received a question about the tires in the above pictures. Those pics are of my drag racing wheels and tires setup and the rear tires are Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials.

Bringing up a dead thread, but, are these smooth (ie can be painted to match body color) or textured plastic?

I used to joke about them but after seeing your pics I have to eat my words. With all the tire debris I get from the track I am going to try the rears.

I put them on my MKZ and being the same color black you don't really notice them but they stop a lot of crap hitting the side of the front door.
HMMM maybe I'll get some of the old time round plastic reflectors, one in each color! Red and green for each corner, have to run that by the better half being it's her car.

I use mudflaps in the winter when I change over to my winter wheels setup ,than remove them when I switch back to our OEM wheels.
