View Full Version : DR Chip with toggle switch

I just got my DR Stage 1 package in the mail, YIPPEEEEE!!! I have a question, though. Mine came with a little harness that has a toggle switch and light attached to it. I've read almost EVERY thread on the chips and installations. I did a few searches to find out what the toggle switch does, but couldn't find anything really firm. In fact, I couldn't even find anyone who has one. Someone please explain this to me. Maybe I should just call Dennis?

Unless you specifically ordered a dual-program chip, the switch does nothing...it comes with the blank chip when Dennis buys them, so he just includes it to you...

Call Dennis. Sounds like you got the high end chip. It should be a two position toggle switch. Program 1 & Program 2 and separate lock out switch (I think). I believe MartyO has one of those.

I have one, but what RF said is the "gospel" on this. I doubt you got a dual program chip unless you ordered it that way (I have a valet mode on the second side of mine).

You got the single program the switch is free put it in the glove box.

I HEARD you asking Dean at New England Dyno how much it would cost to convert your car from dual exhaust to a single 4" fart can, but this really just too much...

We all know how much you enjoyed "The Fast and The Furious", and how much you'd really like a SPOON engine with a 100-shot of nitrous in YOUR car... :rolleyes:
