Quick question for SB owners

I had a relatively minor accident back in April. Trashed the front bumber, grill, headlights etc. Drove away and was covered 100% ($5,500) thanks to the other drivers insurance. When the repairs were completed I thought something did not look right.

Can you tell me what color the top of the bumper behind the grill is? Mine is now silver but it just does not look right.

Mine is a flat black. Not gloss, not semi-gloss, just flat black. Almost like a black satin primer.

I think he answered my question. But to clarify, the top of the bumper that is visible thru the grille.

Mine is black, so that as you look at the grill all you see is black.:)

My SB is an 04 and the actual bumper (valence) ends just past the bottom of the grille and it's SB. However, there is an insert above the bumper that fills in the gap and it's flat black.

mines a black, but you can just see about 1/2 inch of bumper, but there is a large insert that is flat black.
