Son-of-a-Beech! I get up early this morning, wash and dry my Marauder after it's 1,200 mile trip to, through and from our Adirondack vacation in the woods. I get to work, dry off the drips and it looks good as new...

An hour later I hear the rumble of landscaper's lawn debris throwers and think, I better move my car. To friggin' late! Grass is plastered all over the front and driver side. Grass, leaves and dirt all over the whole thing. I am in awe of how inconsiderate the bastages are. Not like a Shiney DTR Marauder with a black highly siliconed tires and bra on the front doesn't stand out....

I go up to one of the morons on a lawn thrower and ask who the lead guy is. Sure enough, it's the ****3r who lawn mowed my car. I stop him and ask him WTF is he thinking. I get a bunch of lame ash excuses the.. the.. the wind blew it, had the outlet pointed the other way...... Like THAT is what I want to hear... I spewed out a bunch of whatever in my utter frustration and the guy says he pulled in and admired my car, said he never saw a red Marauder before and it looked sweet. I was about ready to punch this ice-hole. I say, if you admire it so much, why the F did you blow grass all over it? DUH????? Then he say, gee, I'm really sorry. I told him that it's unaceptable to go around not respecting people personal property when in the service business. Yeah, he know that.... Did you call my boss????? I told him "not yet"

I get to the Maintenace Manager to find out the name of the landscape co. Maintence Manager says he saw my car and loved it. Then he looks at all the grass and crap all over it, says, 'That's It, these guys are gone' Walks over and cans them on the spot. That is not what I wanted, but the manger said this was about the 8th time there has been a problem, I was just the last straw.

I called the owner of the Landscape co. and explained they had a responsibility to safeguard people property while performing their services. It is rude and inconsiderate to blow crap all over people cars while performing their tasks. Why don't these lanscapers friggin' get it? I told them if they take their car in for an oil change, they don't expect to get foot prints on their hood...

I was more pissed then, than I am now; but still fuming. I went home on lunch and re-washed my car. Good as new again.

This in about the third time this has happened to me over the years. Firs time was on a black car that was three days old. Bastages blew grass and dirt all over the car and proceeded to wipe off the roof and hood with their sleeves. Stupid asses. Every time this happens, whether to my car of somone elses, I am calling the landscaper and complaining.

Can you say.... OBSESSED ?

Sometimes I just hate people.....

Being an ex landscaper myself, I would have pulled him out of the thing and knocked him on his ass... I would always be VERY careful around people's cars and stuff... UNREAL!

Illegals?

All these clowns care about is getting their job done. I had the same thing happen to me except I was painting my calipers....had the car up on jacks, and you could tell there was a brand new coat of red paint on there drying, plus he saw me working on it as he worked his way up to my place. I assumed he wouldn't weed whack near the drying caliper. Sure enough I leave for 5 minutes and when I get back theres grass cuttings and shavings all over the wet red paint....my wife went to go give him what for and he pretends he can't hear her through his earplugs and weed whacking....true a-holes.

Unfortunately, this situation is very common. Back when I drove the MM every day, I would have to coordinate my parking at work based on whether or not our friends from the south were firing up their various landscaping devices. They must have thought I was nuts, but while my co-workers were getting 2 lbs. of debris blasted into their car, I was hanging out across the street waiting for the carnage to end. Once the pick-up and trailer pulled away, I drove back into the lot and parked. I used to yell at the guys but I got sick and tired of the shrugs. The guy who does my home lawn maintenance had one of his employees trim and blow crap around/into/underneath my parked and covered MM and Beetle. After a phone call, I never saw that doofis again. I guess it makes you wonder if anyone takes any pride in their work regardless of what kind of work it is.

This is why my wife and kids tell me they never want me to sell the Marauder, but inside, I think they really do.

We saw a beautiful red Corvette convertible the other day. I asked my wife if she'd like to have one of those. She said "Not if you're going to treat it like the Marauder".

I had my 2005 Mustang for about 2 months when a dumb a$$ hit the front bumper with the weed eater. Put a slice in the front bumper on the lower corner and when I called the company they blew me off:mad2:. So frustrating. I hate stupid people that don't respect others property.

My moms neighbor got a divorce a couple years ago and now she has psycological issues and actually cuts her grass every day, thats right every day and she has about 3/4 acre. So i can't even park in my mothers driveway when i visit anymore. She has the chute tore right off her john deer rider and that stink blows EVERYWHERE!!!!

Ha! Lucky you are still at the "sometimes" level.

Sorry to hear about that Joe. Remember as they say in Christine "***** wipes off." And yes I know it wasn't *****.
