10 minutes ago at 5:05 PM I was driving north on Rte. 31 through Hampton, when I looked in my rear view mirror and saw myself ,well sort of. There was a beautiful Silver Birch Marauder which appeared out of nowhere. I was getting ready to turn off on my road so I put on my blinker ,pulled off to the right shoulder and slowed down so the car could come up beside me, hoping it was one of you guys. The driver was a guy in his 20's. I had the feeling he might have been driving his Dad's car because he wasn't all that impressed that I was driving a Marauder that looked just like his(except for the American flag in his rear window.) He probably wondered what the hell the strange woman was doing! Anyway, I enjoyed hearing him speed away and admiring his really great looking car.

Not every owner thinks of it as we do. Probably less than 1/3 of the original owners joined here. Now we are on the second gens, maybe 3rd in some cases. Make's me sick to see one of these sitting on "Joe's Auto Sales" lot. :bigcry:

This is the 1st car since my 68 Charger that i got that same feeling. so when i c another panthor i just assume that they know what they have. I guess different strokes for different folks. mmmm driving one day on Hwy came upon another panthor pulled along side, passenger window down look over and i gets the bird.. then again i live in Brooklyn and that sometimes means hello how are ya

:agree:

Ha, Ha .... look who has become another MM stalker. ;) Did you get some of those MM.Net calling cards to hand out when you catch 'em?

It is really surprising that there are still alot of owners out there who haven't found us yet.

Here you can print your own >>>> http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=38181

10 cards per page. Print them front to back and cut 'em out or use the kit that Bunny mentioned.

Big Dog Jim turned me on to this forum by leaving a card on my car. Would like to pass on the favor.

You weren't driving in front of a mirror were you?

I used to drive past a mirror on a building when i lived in england and have a good look at my Mustang back then.
