it is very nerved, that the radio switch off by turn off the engine. how can i change it?
at my marquis from 1996 i placement a cable from the radio to the lightning control module. but at the marauder, i donīt know the pinīs. who can help?

I assume you want to listen to the radio without the engine running? Why not turn your ignition key to the "Accessory" position (ccw direction)? The radio will work as well as your windows.

I know what he means. If you're listening to the radio, and you turn the car off and keep going to the access position, the radio shuts down, then powers back up again.
It IS stupid, everything else I drive has no interruption like that.

and what i said, at may mercury grand marquise, i had the same problem, at the radio was one pin and this i splicing to the LCM, but it was an other connector!

If you want to be REALLY technical, you could use a Bosch relay and some ingenuity to keep the radio on until a door is opened. That way you won't miss the three seconds of that WHAM cassette while turning the key to the accessory position.

Maybe connect a relay to power up the sound system via the convenience power for the underhood light and trunk light, it stays powered up about 20 minutes or so after the car is turned off.
