I have heard very good things about this car show .... Clifton, VA, Monday, 1 September 2008, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

SEPT 1st The 9th Annual Custom Cruisers Labor Day Show will be held in Historic Clifton VA from 10 AM till 3 PM. Sponsored by the Custom Cruisers of Northern Virginia and the Clifton Lions Club. $10 pre-registered entry fee and $15 day of show. This is an open all vehicle show. Vendors, great food, music, Dash Plaques to first 250 show vehicles, Door Prizes, Participant Pick Awards and Specialty Trophies. Got to Clifton, VA about 9:30 AM.

Was a very good turnout for the 9th Annual Labor Day Car Show in Clifton. About 350 cars. I got skunked (again) but there were some really fine rides there. Only 1 Marauder though. :up: Got to talk up the car some.

Two new Dodge Challegers there -- one orange and the other black.

The classics ruled the day -- top muscle car was '70 Hemi Cuda. Two Plymouth Superbirds, too. One took a top 40. Also saw a '33 Rolls Royce and a '60 Rolls. My personal favorite was a '58 Pontiac Starfire ... or maybe the '57 Ford Fairlane 500 ... or the '56 pink Thunderbird ... or the two-tone '55 Mercury Monterey. wow too many to mention.

It was a fun day -- perfect weather .... woulda been nice to come home with a trophy but it wasn't gonna happen today. Either way, another segment of the population has become educated on the Marauder.
