This time no B.S. is going to happen.
We are playing Sept 3rd at The Beat Kitchen which is 2100 west Belmont here in Chicago.
Come on out!
This will be indoors so no rain delays! ;)

That was my and my family's old hood, they moved in around there in 1836,yes 1800,not 1900. It wasn't Chicago then up there
My grandfather was born at Ashland and Barry,my father was born at Roscoe and Ravenswood and I was the last one born at home,at 2112 W.Roscoe.
One of my uncle's got stabbed in a fight at the old Stormy Bull which preceded this place in the same location.Stormy's was there about as long as I can remember.
Back when Riverview was open Riverview was a great place for us teen agers to hangout, ride all the rides and meet chicks.Afterwards we'd walk across the street to Henry's(a McDonalds rival that had better burgers) and grab a couple burger's,a shake and some fries for way less than 2 bucks.Riverview was the real deal, freak shows andall, not some namby pamby oversanitized joint like Great America.
Ah yes my young friend, them was some good times, heck I was young and immortal back then too.(some 40+ years ago, lol)
Now they call the hood Roscoe Village and it's infested with yuppie scum and all us guys that grew up there can't afford to live there anymore cause they drove the property prices sky high and built all them 3 story single family monstrosities. They call that progress,ha.
JK about charging for the personal appearance,I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it though as I got rushed into the ER back on the 13th and spent some time in the hospital.Turns out I've got some issues with my ticker and I'm gonna be off work for a month or so and then we'll see what'll be.But maybe I'll be able to make it,no promises though.

UncleLar you sure are right about YUPPIE SCUM! If you stop by the first couple rounds of Pabst Blue Ribbons are on me, unless you want something else? I should be able to make this one.

You should come to my area. I am the one who is lowering the resale values on the homes. There were no speed bumps or beat up Chevy trucks in this area until I came around.

Come on out guys! I need the support. The opening group The Dyes have two very nice girls in the band. They are a Garage/Rockabilly band. It's going to be a gas!

You guys really missed out. It was so much fun and I think the girl group wanted to do more than share a stage with us, too bad my g/f was there and making sure everyone knew she was there! Grrrrrrrr!
Until next time...

Work is a 4 letter word.
Especially at the outfit I toil for.It reminds me of Tennesee Ernie Ford's song
16 Tons.

That song was supposed to be played by Bo Diddley on Dick Clark I believe. He played his own song Bo Diddley and was banned from television for ten years... that's music business for ya.
