611562 thats a pretty early VIN. is it pre-production? I cant remember where it started. Cars aren't necessarily built in sequential order. VIN's are assigned when car is ordered, but then production needs a certain mix (of options) to run efficiently. Some options may require more time in the assembly process, so they don't run them back to back to back. VIN number ****61 doesn't come immediately before ****62, then ****63, etc. At least that's the way VIN's worked in Lorain and Ohio Assembly plants, where we built Econoline/Clubwagons and Thunderbird/Cougars, XR7's, LTD II, Ranchero 's, etc.

I'd like the interior out of it if anyone is thinking of buying.

Repost or not - I have never seen this one AND we do always have new members. That is odd that that limb passed through the dash and into the seat. Seems iffy on fixability and whether or not the asking price will be reached. I see $4,000 tops. I wonder what was smooshed under the hood......

Price is out of line when you look at what you can buy a driver for now. This one is good for a parts car or lower the price a lot.

I know VINs arent in order, but they usually arent thousands off. mine is 62xxx and was built the first day after summer break (7-15-02) so I'm still assuming it was built in that earlier initial stocking run.

Not yet...

Wed I almost took it over to the daughters in Portsmouth but there was a 30% chance of thunderstorms, it stayed in the garage...
