Why oh why did i wait for these Flowmasters?

Last saturday i had my tips cut off, resinators beat out and welded back on for only $40.00 but wasn't loud enough. So while i was their i asked about Flowmasters and they gave me a great price of $90.00 each installed. Thats what they cost just for me to buy at autozone! So today i had them installed and what a difference. Now my problem is i'd like to quiet it back up a smudge. Its just a little too loud inside, not obnoxious by no means but definately a small amount of unwanted cabin noise. So now i might have the tips extended an inch or so, but probably try that clamp on weight i read about somewhere. And now i can actually here something other than the trilogy, not much but atleast something. Now shes noisy at both ends!

I went with the SS Magnaflows and love them no drone,great sound,bought some magnaflow tips and extended them about 1 1/2 past the originals

It was a flip of the coil litteraly to go with magnaflow or flowmaster. But for now i like what i got but my mood changes hourly so who knows. I also would like to see and hear what those newer cherry bombs (the red ones that replace the tips) would be like but they don't have a marauder specific part # that i could find or a sound clip. I think they would look good with my red calipers.

Did you get Super 40's or Delta 40's? I have Super 40's which are the louder of the two 40 series muffler. Delta is quieter, also did you have the exhaust shop extended your tips out past your bumper by 1.5"? Having them exhaust outside and not underneath the car does help.

Mine has gotten two quiet for me so an upgrade is needed soon! lol

Delta, i wanted to take this in small dosis to brake in the wife, you see now i can upgrade whenever and just tell her that its all in her head. LOL. Anyways there was a slight communication issue my spanglish wasn't working to good when i asked them to extend so no it is in the stock location. I think i'll just pick up a welder sometime this week and do it my self. I do carry welding certs thanks to my job so no big deal. However i am having technical difficulties uploading my video to youtube and streetfire, it shows a full green bar at the bottom but even after hours no change, i have enabled all my activx contlos and still nothing. This pc is for some reason not letting me upload. Any ideas?

Maybe a sticky with different exhaust sound clips would be a good idea.I think enough people ask about this stuff on a regular basis

Need's to be LOUDER,
I have 40's also, one of these days I have my heart
setup on, Long Tubes 2/5 inch all the way trough
along with super 44's, oh oh yeah and realy nice looking
UNCATED h-pipe, cats suck realy bad who wants those things
on ther car lol


I get the drone also I often find my self looking for it, but if
you dont want it ease up real gently on the pedal, saves gas too.

P.s if your hood is missing dont call the cops, send me the bill lol.

2nd set cat delete, super 40 flowmaster and 3.5 res-delete tips on pretty much stock piping besides the 2' of 2.5" in front of the mufflers to the stock H-pipe.

I use to have side pipes right off my H-pipe but that only lasted 3 weeks because the drone gave me a headache every time I drove it lol.
