Got owned by myself...

First 3 races, no problems. A 633rwhp KB'd Cobra on DR's got him twice then a bracket win on my buddy that fell asleep and went to work for his R/T of 1.032 :shake:. The last race I freaking did a -.029 RT redlighting, giving the win to my buddy in his KB'd Cobra. I havn't redlit in I swear 2 years. I have alot of fun racing that Cobra, we are VERY close, we both always trap 120 and its always side by side.

My wife suffered the same fate. She ran against a Mach 1 twice, got him once and he got her, both races within .090. She's a hell of a driver. When it came time for eliminations she also red lit with a -.001!!!!

Its funny, I ran 12.4 @ 120 with all season Kumho's (2.2 60'). Then tonight 11.79 @ 120mph on my slicks (1.7 60'), every race I trapped 120. At least the car is consistant on power with 9psi. :burnout:

I got some great roll bar cam footage I'll post up tomorrow if I can get time to rip it. I can't believe how much the car "launches".

Do you know the DA? I'm guessing a bit high, a 633rwhp Cobra should be trapping quite a bit higher then 120.

Sounds like some good times, I love the look of your Gt.

Yup, 8000ft. We Breath through straws up here. He was also running on Nitto's and I was running ET Streets. With drag radials a race between me and him are damn near identical, it just depends on who ate their wheaties in the morning..ahaha

Since I have a car similar to his friends, that is why. Running in that high DA is ridiculous and doesn't give the times you see in the rest of the country.

As with any 600+ rwhp cobra the biggest problem is planting all the HP to the ground I always laugh when folks just assume the big Termie is gonna waste the Fox at the strip.

He dosn't dare run slicks, I dont' blame him. I broke the half shaft in my wife's Cobra with just a clutch dump on the street. I can't imagine what his car would do to actuall slicks... I sure as hell wouldn't want to clean it up. hahah

We got video...

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/utahstans-at-rmr-3_180520.htm. My wife is the Mineral Grey car with the fogs on racing the black notch. I'm running my friends white GT. He fell asleep at the hole BAD!!!

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/utahstangs-at-rmr2_180507.htm Wife is in the middle of the vid racing a Mach. Its definatly a little faster than her but she works that tree like no other. Sub .100's RT's. Then I'm next racing my buddy's KB'd car.

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/utahstangs-at-rmr_180504.htm. I'm the 2nd race. He spun pretty bad and couldn't make up for it. The last race was my wife against the mach again. They both have 4.30's and DAMN I'M PROUD she's barkin all the gears and gets him cause he fell asleep.

Oh here is last time out. I ran all seasons and he's on Nitto's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Is4Z1WmUT_w Our runs are just so close.

I'll post the incar's later.
