Recovering old posts

Hi Ho;

My post count is 1349 but I can only view the last 1000. What happened to the first 349? I was doing some research and the post's I'm interested in were in the first batch.

Wild guess here. The search function is limited to the first 1000 returns to prevent huge searches from impacting performance.

To see your post prior to the last 1000, try a date starting with the date of the oldest message from your original set of 1000 and select 'older' from the drop down.

Pat - when you click on the "Search" name at the top of the page in the navigation bar, go to "Advanced Search." Look at the Search Options. I tried selecting "A year ago" "and older" and came up with your first 792 posts. You can narrow your search down by forum too.
