I believe the brake pedal part is toast.

The assembly is VERY tempermental. Switch the pedal locations as little as possible.
As a bonus, the new CVPIs will come with the same adjustable pedal assembly, which means lots will be in wrecking yards in the not so distant future.

Is it possible for the pedals to actually be off if it jams? I ask because my pedals are extremely uncomfortable and are stuck. The brake pedal seems way too high. I’ve gotten use to driving with both feet in ol' blue.

I agree, when you get it fixed kinda try to pretend ther was never
no pedal adjustment, set it at a spot were both of you guys can be
happy with it just by moveing the seat only and not the pedal's,
.....
speaking of pedals this going to make me post a tread
on weak feeling of the brake pedal Or can some one
anser my question trew this,
usaly I know a good feeling brake pedal is when its hie up
and doesnt go very far down at all just a tad this thing
goes down about half way, brake guy checked it and
said ther was no air in the system is this the way the marauder
should be?....

If you hear the motor cycle and the pedals only move a fraction of an inch, the plastic gear inside the brake pedal housing has cracked. this makes the gear expand and will only cycle one revolution. I have had to change the pedal assembly is both blues, two blacks, and two CV's. You buy the whole pedal assmebly from the dealer since none of the internal parts are sevicable. It is not that hard to change the assembly out. It is really a desgin flaw. They have a plstic gear on a metal hub. Out here in the desert when the metal heats up and expands it cracks the gear. Also a very hard brake application (going into ABS) can do it as well.

Mine don't work now and I don't think ever tried them but once and put them all the way down like Rich.....NOW NOTHING!!!!:argue::mad2:
Gave the part number above to my parts guy and he says the '04 Marauder requires the entire accelerator assembly for around $200.00....Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!:mad 2::mad2:
Anyone know for sure what it takes as I will probably eventually fix it!!:shake:

04 Marauder uses the accelerator pedal assembly one but I got it for half price through my favorite parts guy!!
Funny thing is....the OEM assembly can be disassembled and quite possibly the drive gear replaced but of course Ford doesn't offer any kits for this contraption!!!:mad2:

Samething happened 2 me. I let my mother drive so I had 2 adjust the pedals 4 her, she's shorter than me. Worked fine the hole day. The next day I couldn't get the pedal back down the way I like it. I just left it like the way it was.
