I found a MM for sale on Ebay from a dealer. It is a no reserve auction and although not in the description the photo of the engine compartment clearly shows a Trilogy Supercharger.
Here is the link

The price is currently $5800???? Rick

I smell a scam. There are two engine pics one stock and the other with a Trilogy on it.

I'm confused. They show 2 engine pics. Pic #8 of 16 shows a non supercharged engine, pic # 16 shows a Trilogy.

I'm with Scott... I smell a scam, and I bet the car is NA.

Those pics are just random general ones, they compiled from websites. Look at that, familycar.com...

The odds that someone would put a Trilogy car on E-Bay with a no reserve is not very likely. Just ask the seller about the engine.

Done and done. I think they are clueless.

Lets see if the question gets posted....

"It appears you are trying to deceive bidders. Please explain what engine is in the car. You show pictures a standard engine and a super charged engine. If not deception are you just clueless about this fine car?"

I smell a scam. There are two engine pics one stock and the other with a Trilogy on it.

Of the 2 enging bay pictures, it appears that the one with the Trilogy was taken at night :shake:

I'm betting stock. The tach appears to be showing an idle ~650 RPM.

Um... yeah.

Scott, did you ask the seller the question and get an e-mail from him? I don't see the question or reply on his E-Bay add.

Yes I did. Don't know why it doesn't show up.

Because if he choose to show it he would lose some bidders. This way he can sell for a premium and if he gets called out on it from the purchaser he can "knock off a few bucks for the typo".

i wouldnt get near it, probably justa scam, dont even have a marauder to sell

Holy hell thats shady!!! He's using pictures from other people's cars.

Stay the hell away from that auction.

I love my new car but I'm done with e-bay. I'll sell a car there but won't buy another car on there unless I see it first.

NOTE: This item is using generic photos taken from public websites and even shows two different engines in the vehicle. One is stock, the other a supercharged engine. The seller has advised that he is "sorry about the picture" but can't remove it now. VERY misleading, and none of the pictures are likely to be showing the actual car being sold.

Just my experience but I bought my "dream car" MM from an Ebay auction. After driving for about 200-300 miles it started to overheat. I called the dealer and he said tough toenails!. Long of the short. The engine had been severely overheated and required both heads replaced and now I have a knock from the guts so I need a new engine. I am now about 22K into a car worth 12K (if fixed) If I did not love the POS so much it would burn. And never sign a waiver of any kind on any used car! I have to sell my scca race car to repair my daily driver. That upsets me so. I really wanted to use that money to go Trilogy. Perhaps next year?
Buyer beware.

The pic with the Trilogy in has a large-gauge ANL fuseholder leading from the battery but nothing in the trunk indicates a heart-stopping sound system.

"This Beautiful Low Mileage Marauder Is Simply Stunning In Every Detail."
'Specially the missing right front turn signal and cornering light.Look at the pics, every shot except one that shows the right side looks carefully composed so you don't see the missing lights.

Don't steer clear of eBay cars, but stick to reputable dealers. I bought my 04 Silver last year from a dealership 3000 miles away in another country...sight unseen. Not a single problem to date with the car, dealership in business over 30 years.
