SALE PENDING..DEPOSIT GIVEN ON 9/6.

I'm looking for a 2004 MM with under 80k miles. I have the following vehicle that I would be willing to do a partial trade with.

“RARE” 1983 Mercury Capri RS
“Survivor”- stored for 20 years in a garage.

List of New components are as follows:

1. New-Ford factory H.O. 5.0 crate motor
(Less than 1,000 miles on it)
2. Updated to 8.8 rear with 327 gears
3. Updated T5 manual 5 speed
4. Holley Street Avenger 4-barrel vac. secondary carb.
5. Eldebrook manifold
6. Headers
7. Flowmaster exhaust
8. Three row Radiator
9. Electric cooling fan
10.New water and heater hoses
11.A/C compressor and accumulator 134A conversion
12.Alternator & battery
Plus many more new parts. Too much to list.

Eric,

I have not had it dyno'd nor have I ran it in the 1/4 mile. I will say this, the car only weights 2700 lbs and change. The HP is probably in the 260 range. My guess is it would run somewhere in the 13's in the 1/4 mile. I originally bought this car for my son until I realized how fast it was.

Recently my company annouced that my demo is being taken away. They will give me car allowence under guidelines that the vehicle must be five years old or newer and under 80,000 miles. So my plan is to drive a 2004 MM for a year and give it to my son.

I'll post more pics soon.

Is it anything like this? This one sounded really bada$$. I heard it coming, and luckily got a shot when it stopped at a red light. I'm not sure what year it is though.

That is a 1971 or 1972 mercury comet. It is the mercury version of the ford maverick. It does look pretty sweet though!

I was given a deposit on the Capri over the weekend.Sale pending.

I'm still looking for a 2004 MM with under 80k miles for as cheap as possible. The condition of the vehicle is not all that important providing that it's not a salvage title.
